This is a showcase or some of the sites or style of sites that can be installed on BlueHost. There are several reasons I believe that BlueHost is one of the best shared hosting services out there. Here are a few of them:
1. Excellent customer service - Bluehost has US-based customer support agents available by phone or chat. Very competent in their knowledge and approach. Very solid!
2. Flexibility - can install multiple domains, multiple email addresses, host multiple sites, different software, easy to install, all designed so that any individual can use this software service without having to have a "webmaster".
3. Features - BlueHost accounts have a great control panel (cpanel), simplescripts (1-click installs), fantastico, phpmyadmin, cron jobs, tutorials available within the account.
4. Reliability - 99.9% uptime
5. Techie-friendly - This is an important point. They allow for "shell" access. The accounts are still shared, i.e. on a shared server, but running this virtual access via shell SSH is a great way to interact with the server for those who know.
6. Price - Very inexpensive, even when adding a dedicated IP if needed or an SSL certificate. In either of these cases, the solution is solid.
I've really enjoyed working with BlueHost and have used them for quite a while. I've been with about 3-4 other hosting companies in the past decade and have loved my experience with Bluehost.
